Organic fabrics are made from plant fibers or manmade fibers that are processed using non-toxic chemicals. The pesticides used here will be natural pesticides like ladybug and so on. Types of Organic Fibers

One of the commonly used fibers is cotton. There are also other fibers other than cotton that is used to manufacture fabrics. They include the following
1.Hemp is one of the alternative fibers for cotton. Hemp is a renewable fiber and has natural resistance to pests and is a breathable fiber. Since, it is resistant to molds and bacteria; it is used to make shoes. The fiber is strong by nature.

2.Linen is also an organic fiber. This has got all the features of hemp fiber. Linen is used to manufacture clothes for women, bathing robe, bed sheets, and towels and so on.

3.Silk is one fabric that is loved many women. Silk is considered as the strongest protein fiber. It is spun from silk worms that are cultivated using the organic technology.

4. Another organic fiber that is becoming popular is tencel. It is a man made fiber from wood pulp
Organic Clothes for Women

Women are more sensitive to allergies caused by chemicals. Their skin is soft and tender compared to the men’s. Conventional cotton clothes have chemicals that can be harmful for the people who are very sensitive. Therefore, it is advisable to go for lighter organic wear. There is a wide variety of organic clothes for women. Women can get anything from lingerie to maternity dress in organic fabric. Some of the commonly displayed women’s organic clothes are stylish skirts, bras, corset, wide variety of tops and Tee- shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters, sweat pants and so on. Organic athletic wear is also available for women. The organic fabric are breathable there prevents the problem of sweat odors.

There are organic shoes for women. Some women are prone to problems of odor of the feet. This can be solved by using organic shoes made from hemp, jute, cotton and so on. Hemp shoes are breathable and natural resistant to bacteria and mold.

Today, many of the apparel companies that make clothes exclusively for women or unisex are promoting the usage of organic fibers. This has lead to the increase of demand in the global market.

Sweaters made from organic fiber uses wool which is sheared from the sheep that are grown organically in the farms. The sheep is given organic feed and no pesticides are used on them. There is a huge market for organic sweaters and other woolen clothes. Organic clothes are not very expensive and are long lasting.
